The Edwin Group is an educational alliance delivering services and products for education professionals and leaders.
As a Product Design Lead, I combine creativity, strategic thinking, and leadership to shape and deliver impactful digital products. My role involves defining a clear and compelling design vision that aligns with the brand’s identity while directly addressing user needs. I work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design strategy is fully integrated into the wider product roadmap. With a strong focus on user-centred design, I champion accessibility, usability, and high-quality user experiences at every stage. Alongside strategic leadership, I remain hands-on in design execution and oversee the development and evolution of design systems to ensure consistency across apps and websites. From research and ideation through wireframing, prototyping, and final delivery, I guide the team through every phase of the design process.

Aviva is one of the biggest insurance companies in the UK and has been around for 320 years.
My work at Aviva was to create innovative products that enabled customers to make better-informed financial decisions. I have conceptualised and designed two high-profile products – MyAviva and Aviva.com.
Within Aviva, I have always worked as part of multidisciplinary teams and have been instrumental in building a UCD culture, mentoring junior designers, and facilitating communication with senior stakeholders.

My experience included leading the Website/E-commerce Design in-house team and driving a true design culture. Working under a head of design and implementing a user research practice, a Design System, and defining Processes around User-Centric Design. Heading a complete redesign and implementing evidence-based methodologies and being fundamental to transforming the Hive corporate website into an international E-commerce platform. The site grew from a UK-based website to a worldwide one, present in 6 countries.
